Arizona-based artist-designer Ann Norman was born on the West Coast but her family’s roots go back three generations to the White Mountains of eastern Arizona.  Thus the inspiration for her unique designs comes from both her California upbringing and the Arizona deserts and ranch land where she spent many summers.  This city-country duality is often reflected in her innovative designs.  Her award-winning designer lines offer basins, vessels, and tiles made from the highest quality 100 percent solid bronze and aluminum.

In my collections you will undoubtedly note my fascination with Americana, indigenous cultures, performing arts and western history.  As both a self- and professional taught artist in a variety of media, I’ve been painting, designing and creating as long as I can remember and I hope I can pass the joy and release this gives me along to you.  I nourished my inspirations working as an interior designer as well as by owning and managing specialty retail stores from fashion to architectural elements.  I have found the two are very closely related. However, one consistent theme throughout my career is my love of bath design.

Whether I’m creating art or designing functional elements for a home, I work with both shadows and light to achieve a desired result that I believe you’ll find both sincere and heartfelt.

As you browse my website, you will have the option to hear music.  Music, I believe is so important to the creative process on so many levels.  Music is key in creating atmosphere as well as an aid in communicating the inspiration and gist of a collection or vignette. I listen to a variety of music while creating and designing because sound is a big part of the overall outcome of design as well as the shopping experience itself. (In my opinion, two things missing from online shopping is music and the atmosphere it creates.)  Whether it’s recorded music or just the music of nature, this sensory experience seems to encourage the energy flow and rhythm.

The collections you’ll find here—past, present and even to come—are my passion.  I’m truly excited to present my work to you to experience and perhaps fuel your own joy and passion.
